DESIGN – OUR APPROACH
1. INITIAL CONTACT
After we have heard from you we will arrange a convenient meeting to discuss your requirements, to view, measure and assess the site and work with you to consider the possibilities against your budget.
We will then go away and think about how best we can design your garden taking into account how much time you want to commit to hard and soft landscaping and maintenance.
2. DESIGN PROPOSALS
At our next meeting with you, we can discuss our early design ideas which will incorporate the size and positioning of the hardscape elements (paths, patios, decking, walls) and plant suggestions for the softscape areas (specimen planting, mixed planting, lawns). Once you are happy with the direction we are heading in, we will put together a detailed schedule of costs for your approval.
3. WORK SCHEDULES
Before we start on your garden project we will provide you with the timescales for the project and what disruption could arise. Please not that during busy periods some of our work will be carried out by sub-contractors with whom we have a strong working relationship and we emphasise that ALL work will be personally supervised by either Steve, Karen or Peter.
We ask for a 30% deposit on commencement of all projects and a final invoice will be submitted for the balance upon completion. Payment terms are strictly 30 days.
For larger projects we may need to invoice fortnightly as the project progresses.
